Today I sold my dad's surf caster metal sculpture that he made with his acetylene torch in 1970s.
This is the second day of my moving out sale. It seems appropriate that I sold such a sentimental piece on a day when my surfer buddy, Dana, came by to help me continue packing up stuff.
This blog is going to start as a daily journal. So here goes today's entry:
Asked Bob to disconnect cable box and returned it to spectrum. The bill was adjusted from 123.00 two 74.99. Agent was worried that I thought I was being ripped off when I ask for itemization of what I was signing for.
Set up garage sale. Put out new stuff including sleeping bag, painted pictures, miscellaneous textiles, cups flowers, Music stand, tripod, etc.
Very slow business today only $18 income
Continue various packing chores during sale
Dana McGregor stacked up containers, organized closet, cleared the way around the desk
Bob help put things back in the truck after the sale. I covered the table with the tarp.
Took it easy in the evening and wrote this entry as well as updating my diary for the month of June
