Today I got to really get into the nitty-gritty of packing simply, tightly and wisely. That means 2 different overnight bags with everything in each plus layering outfits as they are projected to be worn so that unpacking is minimally messy. Of course that generally leads to easier repacking. Wow, what a breeze!
Here's a photo of the containers I have been organizing and packing. once or twice a day my neighbor Bob drops by to help me move things around and clean up. Then I spend time emptying tubes and refilling them to my precise needs. It has all be going very nicely given the limited man-power. In 2 weeks I have stripped all belongings from the apartment. Today I drug the old stained space carpet out and threw it in the bushes to put in the dumpster tomorrow. Now I can start moping the floor again.
After I get another week of packing I'll have 2-3 weeks to regroup, relax and plan the trip.
