What a country, eh? Such a fabulous response to royal monarchy and pure hierarchy. We have it so nice here. I'm so spoiled.
In my writing I can move from topic to topic fast because I'm always seeing connections and that was another one that can be instructive too. Being spoiled will be part of the "manuscript." America is all about spoiling people. We are truly a land and people of plenty, overall. So Happy Birthday and thanks for the memories Bob, Doris and Bing, LOL. I digress.
The point here is that I still believe in our American values of individuality, responsibility, liberty, inclusion and diversity. These are very important things in so many ways. I was just talking the other day to a friend, Celine, about the pros and cons of rugged individualism. It can build the best character while it almost directly contradicts the principle of interdependence. We must be very careful to honor and balance these with an awareness and deep understanding of how our behavior affects others.
Since this is the first post I completed at the beginning of the day, let me close with this quote I wrote and appeared on the back of my brochure:
That which you do not like, you must face!

See the connection to being spoiled?
Please stay tuned.
